1: 1 Support Teaching Assistant Salford, M6

Position to start in September

£55-£65 a day pay rate

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a 1:1 support Teaching Assistant which is required to support a pupil with social emotional and behavioural difficulties (SEMH) for a Primary School in Salford, M6.

A mainstream Primary School in Salford have received funding for a pupil with SEMH and are now looking for full time support for them. The will be in year 2 (Key Stage 1) and required additional support to engage in the classroom. The pupil also has problems with behaviour which are affected their work and the class.

The Salford school is a slightly larger than normal school and most recently has been graded "good" by Ofsted. The headteacher and senior leadership team are making rigorous improvement to ensure all pupils make good progress through school.

The role is full time starting in September for the rest of the full academic year with the potential to go onto the school's contract.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
