Level 2 / Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Primary Supply
Teesside Area
Start Date: ASAP
£90 – £100 per day (paid weekly)
Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis across a range of primary schools in the Teesside area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified Teaching Assistants who are looking for flexibility, variety, and the chance to gain experience across different school settings, year groups, and local communities.
About the Role
-
Provide classroom support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
-
Deliver small group interventions in phonics, maths, and literacy
-
Support pupils with additional needs where required
-
Assist with classroom preparation and behaviour management
-
Adapt quickly to different school environments
Supply work offers the opportunity to build experience, develop confidence, and explore different schools, with potential for longer-term or permanent roles.
The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
-
Have recent experience working in primary schools
-
Be adaptable, reliable, and proactive
-
Have strong communication and classroom management skills
-
Be confident supporting pupils across different key stages

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
