Behaviour Support required in Preston

Teaching Personnel work closely with a Preston based School which specifically caters for pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD, ODD and Challenging Behaviours. The School is smaller than average and currently has approximately 45 pupils on roll. The School is based on the outskirts of Preston with plenty of on site free parking and access to public transport. The School cater for pupils who are no longer in mainstream education and often display difficult behaviours, therefore, candidates with their Team Teach qualification would be favoured, but this is not essential.

The School are seeking a hard working, enthusiastic, energetic and passionate Teaching Assistant to work with pupils who are often harder to reach. The candidate will ideally have experience supporting pupils with a range of difficulties and have experience supporting adults and children with challenging behaviours.

The candidate must be willing to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils across KS3/4 and they must be willing to work with pupils who could become violent in their behaviours.

- Negotiable pay rates £57 - 67 per day
