Behaviour Support Assistant

Full and part time roles available
As a Teaching Assistant in one of the largest Specialist schools in the UK, your role will be to support pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) with their day to day schooling tasks, working with them closely both inside and outside of the classroom.
The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting children and ideally have experience working with children or have a background in a care role. Job Duties:
- Demonstrate proactive initiative and the ability to follow direction calmly and assertively.
- Provide tailored academic support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support students' academic development.
- Assist in implementing behaviour management strategies.

- Have an enhanced DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply for one.
- Register with education work force council.
- Provide two previous employment references.
- Complete safeguarding level 2

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
