Required: As soon as possible
Hours: 30 hours per week
Contract: Ongoing Supply Contract
Salary: £285 to £325 per week depending on experience
Teaching Personnel requires Behaviour Support to join the team at an Academy in Keynsham. You will be assigned to the Connect Centre, which is a provision for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties. The successful candidate will work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil to help him or her access lessons within the class. Experience of working with pupils on the Autistic Spectrum is preferred but not essential.
The purpose of the role would be to meet the holistic needs of students at this academy under the direction of the teacher / senior staff in order to promote the inclusion and acceptance of all. This will include support for behavioural needs alongside access to learning.
