Behaviour Support Assistant required in Limeside, Oldham Primary School.

Outstanding Behaviour Mentor Needed!!!

Based in East Manchester

Earn Between £50 - £60 par day as a Behaviour Mentor!!!

Do you have experience as a youth worker, sports coach, are you ex-army or into music production, have previous experience in youth offending or as a behaviour mentor?

A Primary school in the Limeside, Oldham area has come to Teaching Personnel seeking a behaviour specialist to support their new cohort if early years children. Due to the demographics of the area, these children see school as their safety net, however do push the boundaries at time, meaning the incoming behaviour assistant must have a firm but fair approach.

Do you want to work in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU), Alternative Provision or possibly a SEBD as a

Behaviour Mentor?

This is an also great opportunity for someone who would be looking to get teaching qualification!

Can you provide very good referencing to support your application as a Behaviour Mentor to ensure we recruit the very best people for these roles possible?

***Earn Between £50 - £60 par day as a Behaviour Mentor!!!

A Behaviour Mentor works on a full-time basis supporting student's behaviour and learning inside and outside of the class, this is primarily a class based position however it's very likely you will end up doing 1:1 withdrawal sessions at some stage in order to maintain the progress of student's behaviour and learning.

The Behaviour Mentor will work with children on a one-to-one basis or in small or large groups, acting as a:

  • Listener;
  • Facilitator for learning;
  • Encourager;
  • Motivator;
  • Role model.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
