Behaviour Buddy required to work in schools

Would you like to provide behaviour and emotional support to children?

Teaching Personnel supports the recruitment of an educational service that provides:

• 1:1 intervention in mainstream primary schools, where you will deliver bespoke curriculum learning packages designed by the school and the local authority, with the aim of preventing permanent exclusions

• 1:1 intervention sessions in a purpose-built short stay alternative provision, where you will deliver the same kind of package to children who have been temporarily taken out of school, with the aim of re-integrating them back into their previous school

Both forms of learning will prioritise managing behaviour, and therefore you must be confident in connecting with different children’s social and emotional needs, as well as their academic needs. At the moment, the educational service is looking for a support member of staff to work with one student in the mornings and a different student in the afternoons. Ideally 5 days per week (Monday-Friday) although part time of 3 or 4 days per week may be considered for the right candidate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
