I am currently looking for a teaching assistant who specialises with behaviour to join my partner school in BD7, you must have experience working with SEMH and challenging behaviour.

The school is a 2 form entry primary school with a "GOOD" OFSTED rating. They are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to join their large family like staff team, the ideal candidate will have experience working with children aged 4-11.

You will be required to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil with emotional and behavioural difficulties. This role will include occasionally supporting students who can sometimes be challenging on a physical level, therefore the schools are seeking those who are experienced, passionate and trained in de-escalation techniques.

The Ideal Candidate: 

• Have at least 6 months experience working with children aged 4-11
• Hold an up to date Team Teach certificate or similar training qualification (MAPA)
• Be passionate about helping young children achieve in their education 
• Be available full time from February half term 
• Hold a Child Only DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
