Teaching Personnel are currently seeking applications from Behaviour Support Assistants that are now looking to gain an experience in a secondary school based within the Rochdale.

• Full-time for Summer Term
• Monday – Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm
• Temporary – Permanent
• ASAP Start Date
• Earnings from GBP10 per hour

As a Behaviour Support assistant you will be responsible for the running of 1:1 support sessions as well as small group support for identified students within the school. These sessions will be inclusive for young pupils that are faced with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. It will be your responsibility to support these young learners, who may often lack motivation and confidence, to reach their full potential.

The successful candidate will:

• Have a passion for working with young people
• Be able to manage behaviour effectively
• Be a spportive and caring mentor
• Have some prior experience working with children aged 11-16

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
