Behaviour Support Assistant

Teaching Personnel have a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring and understanding Behaviour Support Worker to join an independent behaviour provision in Stockport..

The school is an independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged 11 to 16, catering for children with a range of needs that impact behaviour. We are looking for staff to join a dedicated team who work together to ensure successful outcomes for pupils who often arrive at the school with a troubled view of education and life.

You will join a team who pride themselves in steering children in the right direction, nurturing aspiration to progress them both academically and socially to encourage them to take pride in their achievements. Socially, they build confidence in their students so they are able to have a greater understanding of the wider community in which they liveThe school is seeking to appoint a Behaviour Support Worker to join this thriving specialist independant School.

Ideally I am looking for a Behaviour Support Worker with experience within an ASC/SEMH specialist provision, this would be desirable and I will consider applications from those who are currently working in a mainstream setting. Further training and development will be provided for the successful candidate in line with the identified needs of the school, the skills of the individual and their prospective career progression.

This position is due to commence the mid October (subject to approved reference/DBS checks).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
