Position: Behaviour Support Assistant
Location: Oldham
Start date: ASAP
End date: Ongoing
Contract type: Temporary to Permanent Role
Working hours: Monday-Friday (8.30am-3.30pm)
Pay rate: £83.85 – 90 per day
Teaching Personnel are working with a school in Oldham, who are actively seeking a Behaviour Support Mentor, who can support with a pupil. This role would be providing support to a child in Key Stage 2. You will be using different methods such as Visual Timelines, that will help with helping the pupil. You will be required to work during term-time, with the view of becoming a permanent member of staff.
The candidate will be working 1:1, therefore you must have experience of working with children with additional needs. The successful candidate will be working in a good school that ensures that all pupils within the school will make the best progress within the school, this is down to the school being inclusive to meet the needs of all pupils. Safeguarding is a priority at this school as their pupils are vulnerable and require additional needs, completing a Level 2 safeguarding course is required, we can offer you this course for free.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
