Primary School Support Worker – Manchester (M4)

Are you passionate about pursuing a role which would entail you to support children within an education setting?

A large Primary School in Manchester are looking for somebody to join their team and offer support to pupils aged between 4 years old – 7 years old.

How would your day look, day to day? You  would be based in a classroom and work with a specific child, or 2 -3 children, that  require a little extra support with their academic work and some support to keep on task. You’’ be responsible for supporting the class teacher with the preparation of classwork and getting involved in fun activities to support children to stay engaged whilst at school such as, arts & crafts, music and sports!

You should show confidence and resilience with this role and be able to show strong behaviour management strategies. Some pupils may be a looked after child, have specialist educational needs or come from a deprived background – so understanding and nurture is important to have for this role.

The role would be Monday – Friday, term time only, 08:15am – 3:30pm.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
