A Head teacher of a GOOD Graded School in the Leeds (LS12) area is looking for an experienced confident Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant. This position is to start as soon as the children return to School (To be Confirmed) – with genuine scope for a permanent contract thereafter.

Working with both KS1 and KS2, providing 1:1 and group support for pupils who are showcasing challenging behaviour the ideal candidate will be inspiring and motivating pupils to re-focus on their core objectives.

This role is full-time and will be due to start in September 2020 as soon as the children return to school. This is a long-term/permanent position depending on how successful the candidate is within the role.

What is required for this role?

  • Have experience working with children and young people
  • You will ideally have a Degree from a reputable University
  • Must be caring, supportive and dependable
  • Be Team Teach or MAPPA Trained 
  • Be able to support pupils on a 1:1 and group basis
  • Valid DBS is desirable
  • Have at least two references of working with children from your most recent employer(s) which are GOOD or OUTSTANDING.
