Salary: £80 - £100 per day (depending on experience)

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a supportive and inclusive school in Blackpool to recruit a committed Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join their team from January 2025. This full-time role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping children overcome behavioural challenges and succeed in their education.

Your Role Will Include:

• Supporting pupils with behavioural needs on a 1:1 and small group basis.
• Implementing behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques.
• Assisting the class teacher in creating a positive and structured learning environment.
• Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage engagement.
• Contributing to behaviour plans and liaising with pastoral and SEN teams.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Has experience working with children or young people with behavioural difficulties.
• Is calm, patient, and resilient under pressure.
• Understands safeguarding and behaviour management principles.
• Can work collaboratively with staff and external agencies.
• Has a background in education, youth work, care, or similar fields.
