Role: Behaviour mentor

Location: Weston-Super-Mare

Salary: £55-65 per day

Teaching Personnel is looking for a behaviour mentor to support a class teacher and a small number of students and work with students on a 1:1 basis in the Weston-Super-Mare area. This is an incredibly rewarding role in which you will be supporting students who struggle within an educational environment. You will be supporting the learning of students who display a range of complex needs including SEMH, learning difficulties, communication difficulties and autism; due to this the students present high anxiety and some challenging behaviour.

You will be aiding students who often display challenging outbursts and you will need to be resilient, engaging and supportive in order to deal with this effectively. Any experience working with SEN is desired, however not essential.

• Maintain classroom ethos and a consistent approach to teaching and learning
• Promote independent learning
