Behaviour Mentor - North Manchester
Do you have experience of supporting young people with challenging behaviour? Do you want to work with in secondary education?
Due to a gap in the support staff at our partner school in North Manchester, Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a Behaviour Mentor from September 2019. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to work in a secondary school setting.
- Full time Behaviour Mentor role commencing September 2019
- Initial one year placement, with the opportunity for the role to turn permanent
- 'Good' secondary school in North Manchester
- Earn between £285-£325 per week
Our partner school based in the Whitefield of North Manchester, is a smaller than average mixed comprehensive school with fewer than 900 students currently enrolled from the surrounding areas of Sunny Bank and Chapel Field. The school is located a short 5 minute drive from the M60 motorway, and is also local to many bus routes.

As a Behaviour Mentor at our partner school in North Manchester, you will be supporting a student on a 1:1 basis with the view of improving behaviour, increasing attainment and improving progress.
Successful candidates will be expected to:
- Have a positive influence on a range of students that you will be supporting
- Help students to fulfil their potential
- Have several key competencies including patience and resilience
