As a 'behaviour mentor' you will need to challenge and motivate children in your care, to reinforce self-esteem and encourage them to take part in whole class activities in a positive manner. You may be involved in improving their attendance in school, and will work with other members of staff to create a consistent behaviour plan for the children that you are supporting.
