Do you want to become an SEN Teaching Assistant?

We are currently looking for an organised, hard working individual who is interested in working as an SEN Teaching Assistant. You will be working 1:1 with children who require extra support through learning, whether this is mental, physical or emotional needs.

The school caters for children 11-16 years of age with SEMH. They work regularly with young people who have the following needs: OCD, PTSD, high social anxiety, high school-based anxiety and phobias, low self-esteem, clinical depression, self-harm, eating disorders. Therefore, as a Teaching Assistant you will contribute to creating specialist settings to transition or support them throughout examinations or back into mainstream. They have recently transitioned 18 students within the past 12 months.
