Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking Behaviour Mentors to work in a school in the NG2 area of Nottingham with children aged between 13 - 16 who present with Challenging Behaviour.

The school is an alternative provision and works with children who have left mainstream education and seek candidates who hold the following attributes:-

  • Playfulness - to reengage pupils with their education.
  • Acceptance - to help the pupils accept any issues that they have and to work through them in a calm manner.
  • Curiosity - to understand pupils needs and understand what motivates them to learn.
  • Empathy - to show a compassionate nature towards pupils to build relationships with pupils and staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
