Are you ready to make a real difference?
Teaching Personnel are working with multiple schools in Horsham who are seeking compassionate and dedicated Behaviour Mentors to help young people who have, or are at risk of, exclusion from mainstream education.
Due to a range of factors, the pupils within an SEMH school often find it difficult to regulate their emotions and as a result of this, may display behaviour that challenges. Many will have anxiety, mental health needs and difficulties trusting adults due to previous experiences in their life, in turn it is important that the pupils are surrounded by friendly, resilient and empathetic individuals who can utilise a great sense of humour and good behaviour management.
Lessons are often tailored to the needs of the class, hands on learning and activities include mechanics workshops, sports and outdoor activities, music and IT suites and a range of therapy spaces to maximise student comfort and development.

The Role
- Horsham, multiple locations
- Full-time, permanent
- £11.85 per hour (annual salary ranging from £18,000 – £23,000 after temp to perm period)
- Monday – Friday, term time only

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
