Join Our Team as a Behaviour Mentor at a Secondary School in Blackpool!

With a strong focus on promoting positive behaviour, we aim to help each student develop the skills they need to thrive academically and socially.
Responsibilities:
As a Behaviour Mentor, your primary responsibility will be to work closely with students who require additional support in managing their behaviour. Your role will involve:
1. Building positive relationships: Developing trusting relationships with students, listening to their concerns, and providing guidance and support.
2. Behaviour management: Implementing strategies to manage challenging behaviour, encouraging positive choices, and promoting a safe and respectful learning environment.
3. Individualised support: Working with students on a one-to-one basis, assessing their needs, and creating personalised behaviour plans to help them achieve their potential.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
1. Experience: Previous experience working with young people in a similar capacity.
2. Empathy and patience: The ability to understand and empathise with students, while maintaining patience and remaining calm in challenging situations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
