Teaching Personnel are recruiting heavily for a partner School in the Chorley area who are seeking a Teaching Assistant with SEMH experience. The School caters for KS3/4 pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD, ODD and Challenging Behaviours. The School are looking for a hard working, empathetic, resilient and confident Teaching Assistant who can work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils who display challenging behaviours and can often be disengaged with education. The School are ideally looking for a car owner as the role will often require you to work off site with pupils. The candidate suited to this role must be available full time and be available within the next 4 weeks as the role is due to start in November. 

The role will start as soon as possible, School hours are 8.30am - 3.30pm Monday - Friday and candidates must be available to work these full hours. The role will require a passionate Teaching Assistant with strong behaviour management skills and a willingness to work within a challenging setting and learn new skills. The School are looking for a long term/permanent member of staff to join their growing team and you will ideally be looking for a permanent role.

- Negotiable pay rates GBP57 - 67 per day
