Support staff with SEN experience required for a full time role beginning in September - £60 to £75 a day

About the School

A secondary school located in Hayes is currently seeking behaviour mentors and LSAs available to work on a full time basis starting in September.

The successful candidate is expected to have around 6 months SEN experience and eager to help young people. There are several roles available in this specific school, from working on a 1:1 basis to working in a class with small groups.

The school has a friendly and community atmosphere with Learning Support Assistants and the SEN department providing any support necessary. Staff at the school are willing to go the extra mile and they are looking for committed candidates who can be relied upon.

About the role

• Behaviour Mentors and LSAs
• Experience working with SEN students would be welcome
• It would be a full-time role working 5 days a week, 8:30am - 3:30pm
• Pay rate between £60 and £75 depending on experience and education
• This role would be a long term role with
• An "outstanding" school with outstanding pupil development
• Would be expected to work in the SEN department, working on a 1:1 basis, in small groups and assisting in the classroom

Requirements - Please do not apply if you do not meet the below requirements

• A behaviour mentor would need some experience working with behavioural issues or Specials Educational Needs
• The ideal candidate will have a degree (BA, BSc etc.)
• A friendly and committed teaching assistant is required with a dedication towards their students
• Good behaviour management would be ideal
