Astrea Academy - Cover Supervisor / Aspiring Teacher

Teaching Personnel are the sole provider of all supply requirements for The Astrea Academy Trust. The Astrea Academy Trust is a 27 strong Multi Academy Trust with a number of academies in the Barnsley and Dearne areas. Teaching Personnel are seeking experienced cover supervisors, graduates or aspiring teachers to work within Astrea secondary academies in the Barnsley or Dearne area.

Our ideal candidate will be;

  • Seeking part time or full time work as a cover supervisor
  • Willing to undertake CPD collaboratively with Astrea Academy Trust senior leaders
  • Resourceful and enthusiastic with a strong desire to support the education of secondary students
  • Degree educated, ideally with a view to become a teacher
  • Flexible to work across the Astrea schools in your local area

In turn, Teaching Personnel can offer you;

  • Daily rates of pay up to £75.00 per day or up to £100 per day for unqualified long term teaching in your subject specialism
  • A dedicated, specialist consultant to help find you your ideal role or placements
  • Unrivalled CPD opportunities in collaboration with Astrea FREE of charge
  • FREE cover supervisor induction
  • Full or Part time work to fit around your existing commitments
  • £50 reward every time you recommend a colleague to work with us

Due to the high volumes of work, we are able to offer a Guaranteed Work & Pay Scheme to a select number of cover supervisors and graduates who wish to work in Astrea Academy Trust schools.
