Required for September 2025 start – Permanent Position
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Assistant Head of Maths to join our team. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a teacher ready for career progression or for an existing leader looking to join a supportive, innovative environment. The successful candidate will be able to teach Maths across all key stages, including A Level.
The Maths department consists of twelve specialist members of staff and is one of the most successful and high-performing faculties within the school. The department consistently achieves outstanding results, demonstrating exceptional progress at all levels. We take pride in the success of our team and offer a supportive environment for professional growth as both a leader and practitioner. Maths is an extremely popular subject at A-Level, with Core Maths and Further Maths also available in the Sixth Form. Every year, several of our students progress to study maths-related subjects at top universities.
As part of a forward-thinking, creative faculty, you will be joining a collaborative team that values innovation in teaching and learning. We also offer a vibrant extracurricular programme, including the regional Maths Challenge Competition, which adds an extra dimension to our Maths curriculum.
With over 1400 students on roll, including approximately 150 in the Sixth Form, our school is highly oversubscribed, and we are committed to providing an excellent educational experience for all students.
