Aspiring teachers of the future, are you looking for paid work in schools starting in September?

Teaching Personnel have a number of graduate teacher vacancies in both primary and secondary schools throughout South Yorkshire. Our future teachers programme is a perfect opportunity for you to work as a teacher next year and then progress on to teacher training in September 2019, you will gain paid experience working in your chosen school setting and undertake training regularly ready for a PGCE/SCITT course next year. Individuals interested in working as a graduate teacher will need to be/have;

  • A degree and A-levels within your subject area (if secondary based)
  • The desire to become a qualified teacher in the future
  • Commitment to working full time as a teacher all academic year
  • Knowledge of the education system within your sector (primary or secondary)
  • Previous experience working with children in a school or similar capacity

Working as a graduate teacher is excellent PAID experience for those wanting to become teachers. Teaching Personnel work with schools across South Yorkshire (and surrounding areas) and have a number of vacancies in primary and secondary schools. Ideally you will be looking for work for the full academic year, however if you have other commitments and want to gain experience on a supply basis, we welcome your application. Working as a teacher will require you to take direction from teachers and other staff members, provide in class support during lessons, lead activities for small groups and also support children on an individual 1:1 basis, you may also (in time) be asked to lead lessons in the absence of teaching staff.

Graduates will be given full support to be prepared for teacher training, Teaching Personnel have a partnership with a national teaching school who will hold several courses throughout the academic year, including; effective behaviour management, preparation for teaching, assessment for learning and differentiation.
