ASC Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support pupils with ASC and Aspergers. This is a challenging but highly rewarding role.
We are ideally looking for someone who has previous experience of the Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC.), however this is not essential as training can be provided.
The ideal candidate will be -
* Team-Teach trained (desirable - we run this course regularly)
* Have experience in a school setting
* Enthusiastic, committed and reliable
* Knowledge of behaviour strategies
* Available full time
Teaching Personnel are also able to provide a range of training; including Team Teach, Introduction to Autism and Moving and Handling.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
