- At Least 6 months experience supporting pupils with SEN essential for this role
Here at Teaching Personnel we have just had a request from one of our client schools in Liverpool specifically in the South Liverpool area. They are looking for someone to work one to one with a pupil with SEMH and ASC to help work on challenging and disruptive behaviour.
The school is rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted and the drive and commitment of the Headteacher and all staff, as well as members of the governing body, ensures that leadership and management at all levels are good. Pupils with SEN and learning difficulties make good progress. Early assessments ensure that staff know which pupils need extra support so that work begins rapidly in helping them become successful learners.
The school are looking for someone who can work with a child on a one to one basis inside and outside the classroom to help ensure they make the best possible progress throughout school. The child is in year 3 and the Headteacher believes that with the correct intervention can make the expected progress through Key Stage 2.
Although the role will initially be on a temporary basis, they will be looking for a permanent option at the end of the academic year and would be looking to appoint the successful candidate if the placement goes well.
If you would be interested in this position and are looking for long term work please do not hesitate to contact Jack in the Liverpool Primary Branch on 0151 244 5430 or send through your CV to jack.curran@teachingpersonnel.com.
