Role: Art Teacher

Location: Nottingham

Salary: GBP24,373 - GBP40,490 based on experience

Start Date: 7/9/2020

 

An inner city secondary school in Nottingham requires an Art Teacher for a September 2020 start (for 1 term).

The applicant must:

  • Hold QTS.
  • Have prior experience within the teaching of Art up to GCSE level
  • Be a creative  and engaging teacher, who is able to keep pupils focused appropriately
  • Consider the implications of students practical and written work

Key aspects of this role:

  • Encourage students to work collaboratively to achieve required long and short term goals
  • Delivering school curriculum, encouraging group learning and ensuring that students are attempting to create unique pieces of work
  • Preparing students for examinations, with full planning and marking responsibilities
  • Managing day to day factors, ensuring school policy is consistently adhered to
  • Being able to confidently work with students with SEN
  • Be able to implement inventive teaching strategies designed to enable every student the opportunity to maximise thier overall ability within the subject
