Art Teacher Required in outstanding school in Redbridge

Are you a qualified and experienced teacher who would be interested in a part time Art/Design and Technology Teacher role in Redbridge?

This ‘Outstanding’ Independent school is seeking an Art Teacher to join the team for a maternity cover position to commence in January 2017- 4 days per week.

This position will suit an experienced and qualified teacher who has a passion and creative flair for art/design and technology.

For this post, you must be a creative Art Teacher who has the drive to instil your own aims and ambitions in others. The school wants to meet applicants who have the vision and understanding to fuse fun, interactive practice with creative learning. You will teach all Key stages across the school and have the ability to build relationships with class teachers and pupils.

The school has a designated Art room where you will have access to varied resources. You will coordinate your teaching with the teaching faculty and deliver topic based lessons as well as creative and innovative art lessons.

This school is an exquisite one-form entry independent school. The students are high achieving and therefore teaching staff aim to provide high quality teaching and an effective leaning environment for all their pupils.

The school is easily accessible by car from surrounding boroughs and has excellent transport links- walking distance from Woodford underground station. There is also designated staff parking on school grounds.

UK school Experience

PGCE/QTS

Fully Qualified Teacher Status

Excellent behaviour management skills

Willing to travel to Waltham Forest

DBS certificate

A flexible and passionate approach to teaching!
