LOCATION: Hemel Hempstead

RATE / SALARY: £130 - £160 per day

Teaching Personnel are looking for an inspirational, enthusiastic, committed and self-motivated individual to work within the Art Faculty at one of our "Good" Secondary Schools. The successful candidate will be suitably qualified and have strong subject knowledge, a passion for the subject and will also have effective teaching skills. You will be expected to teach across the full age range and across all key stages.

The Art and Design Department has a wide range of facilities and occupies six adjacent classrooms, with facilities for painting, printmaking, ceramics, graphics and photography.

The curriculum offers a balance of taught lessons, practical sessions and self-directed study. The school also regularly organise trips to London Art galleries, museums and places of interest to enhance students' learning in the classroom.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Design Technology Teacher with QTS/QTLS in the UK (applications from NQTs will also be considered)
  • Experience teaching Art to Key Stage 3 & 4
  • Recent teaching experience in a school in the UK
