Teaching Personnel currently work with a client school based in Penarth. The young people within the school have difficulty learning as a result of their emotional, social and behavioural difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and Asperger's Syndrome.
The school itself is a co-educational independent special school that offers day and residential placements for students aged 7 - 19. Our students have difficulty learning as a result of their emotional, social and behavioural difficulties and Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).
The ideal candidate
- Psychology and sport graduates
- The ability to use your initiative in situations that may faze others
- The right personality including being approachable and have good humour.
- Military or police personnel looking for a new challenge
- Positive role models.
Worried that you do not have relevant experience? Do not panic - the school operates on a "right fit" basis. They tend to look for relevant candidates with the right personality over specific experience.
The school helps develop young people's emotional well-being and social skills. The aim is to develop students to be effective learners so they are able to cope better with the things they find challenging. To do this, they focus on establishing positive and healthy relationships, emotional well-being and developing social skills.
