We are looking for a responsible, energetic, enthusiastic Manager to join an experienced team in providing quality after school care to children aged 4 - 11 at a Primary School in Cambridge.
To ensure the profitable and effective management of the day-to-day running of the After School Club; making certain that all children attending receive optimal care at all times, with a focus on a safe and secure environment delivered through a planned, well balanced programme of activities.
Organise activities for children during after school club and breakfast club. Prepare and serve snacks. Assist Owner with attendance and booking system.
We are looking for a pro-active individual with lots of initiative who can assist the team in providing a stimulating and welcoming environment for the children within the framework of the policy and procedures.
You will need to have experience and qualifications in Early Years or Play Work in a quality childcare setting. As well as being confident and capable to support and, where required, stand-in for the Manager, we are looking for someone who loves to play with children and who can interact and engage with them on many levels.
Required education:
- Diploma
Required experience:
- Childcare After School Club: 5 years
- Paediatric First Aid: 1 year
Required licences or certifications:
- Drivers License
- DBS
The hours available are 2:30pm to 6pm Monday to Friday with some mornings required (7.50am - 8.50am), term time only.
