Admin Assistant
Job description
School Administrator Wanted – Full Time or Part Time | September Start | Nottingham NG7
Do you love the idea of being the friendly face that keeps a busy school running smoothly behind the scenes? I’m recruiting on behalf of a fantastic primary school in the NG7 area of Nottingham who are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their team in September 2025.
What you’ll be doing:
-
Running a busy front desk – greeting parents, visitors and staff with a smile.
-
Managing emails, calls, pupil attendance and admin systems.
-
Keeping things calm, organised and on track – even when it’s a bit hectic.
-
Supporting the wider team with anything from letters home to data entry.
✅ What they’re looking for:
-
Someone friendly, professional and unflappable – the kind of person people naturally turn to when they need help.
-
Solid admin and IT skills – confident with emails, systems and spreadsheets.
-
Someone who takes pride in doing things properly and keeping information confidential.
-
You don’t need school experience – just transferable admin skills and a willingness to learn the ropes!
What’s in it for you?
-
A warm, welcoming school environment where your role truly matters.
-
A team that supports one another and values everyone’s input.
-
Real work-life balance – you’ll only work term time.
-
Ongoing support from me and the Teaching Personnel team – we’ll guide you through every step of the process.
If this sounds like the right move for you, get in touch today to find out more or apply. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being busy, staying organised, and playing a key role in a school’s day-to-day life.
