ADHD/ADD Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a 1:1 support assistant's for pupils with SEMH, ASC and ADHD.

The successful candidate will need to have a versatile and enthusiastic personality and be ready to handle any challenging behaviour. Guidance on the school’s policies on behaviour management will be given prior to employment and as a company we offer training courses such as Autism Awareness and Team-Teach.

A willingness to fully engage with the student and assist in all areas of their learning, particularly in English, is essential and it will be beneficial for you to have previous SEN experience.

Desirable Additional Degrees, Qualifications and Awards in childcare or youth work, e.g.

• Foundation Degrees in Education

• Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools

• Support Work in Schools

• Special Educational Needs

• Child Development

• Childcare and Education

• Language / Speech Therapy

• Core Subjects Maths, English, Science, Humanities, Languages

• Sport Coach
