Are you a teaching assistant with ADHD/ASD experience? In the center of Southampton a newly refurbished school is searching for a Teaching Assistant who can assist throughout the primary curriculum to Ks1 and ks2 pupils. The school is located in the center of the Southampton and caters for pupils that have been removed from mainstream school due to behavioral difficulties and in some circumstances pupils with School Phobia. The school is relatively small and has a maximum capacity of 30 pupils with each individual class split into 4-5 pupils. The school have recently been rated 'Good' by Ofsted and looking to maintain the standards and improve further. The role is full time and due to the challenging role the salary is very competitive.
The school are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and is keen to motivate the child to focus on their learning. If you are confident when handling challenging behaviors and have had relevant experience working with ADHD children then we welcome you to apply.
