1-1 Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a caring, confident and a strong communicator to support SEN pupils in our fantastic Primary schools. Our schools requires a 1:1 SEN teaching assistants for September, who have experience working and helping children with Autism.

The role is full time Mon-Fri term time only, 08:30 - 15:30.

What is required from you?

• Full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
• Experience working with children with special educational needs such as; Autism, emotional difficulties, behavioural difficulties or learning difficulties.
• Effective strategies to promote positive behaviour.
• Strong understanding of how to support children with Autism.
• Understanding of lesson plans to help support the teacher.
• Level 2-3 Diploma in Childcare and Education/Supporting Teaching or a relevant subject.
• Experience of working with children with special educational needs.
