Can you help children develop skills of interaction? Can you help to meet the sensory needs of children enabling them to be as calm as possible? Are you committed to raising pupils' educational achievement?

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a learning support assistant to join a school in the Oxford area. You will be working with children and young people with low self-esteem who may suffer with some anxiety and/or anger management challenges. You will be working on a one-to-one basis or with small groups on the pupils identified as needing support in this area.

  • ASAP start

Role:

  • Working 1:1 and/or with a small group
  • Provide support to students with complex educational needs
  • Growing pupils confidence and encourage towards independence

About You:

If you see the potential of every pupil, passionate about working with young people with complex educational needs and is ambitious on taking on new challenges, he Teaching Personnel would like to speak to you.

In addition, you must meet the following criteria;

  • Able to provide 2 references
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Be flexible and adaptable in an environment
  • Be sympathetic, patient and kind
