1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant Needed for Immediate Effect!

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an SEN TA / Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant in an SEN school in Bournemouth. This role involves working with a young boy on a 1:1 basis.

The school caters for children and young people between the ages of 4 and 19 who are experiencing learning difficulties, including complex needs.

As well as the National Curriculum, the school offers a personalised, innovative curriculum to meet particular learning needs, focused on practical, community based learning, creating a warm environment where children positively thrive!

The post requires a talented SEN TA / Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant who is flexible, enthusiastic and dedicated to supporting children with educational needs to join their team of dedicated staff.

All applicants must have a minimum of 6 months experience working with children with special educational needs and disabilities.

The role will include:

* Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation
* 1-1 work with students who require additional support
* Leading group work
* Helping the class teacher with pupil observations

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
