Learning Support Assistant – Specialist Education Setting
Location: Farnborough, Hampshire
Full-time | 9:00am – 3:30pm | Term time
£13.75 per hour (Temp to Perm – salaried role available)
Are you a compassionate and motivated Learning Support Assistant looking for a role where you can truly make a difference?
We are delighted to be recruiting a full-time LSA to join a warm, welcoming specialist school in the Farnborough area. The school supports older primary to young secondary-aged children who benefit from calm, nurturing and consistent support—particularly pupils experiencing emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA) and social, emotional or behavioural challenges.

About you:

Experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar child-focused role
-
A calm, confident and nurturing approach
-
Passion for supporting children with SEMH, behavioural needs or EBSA
-
Reliable, proactive and emotionally resilient
Safeguarding:
To keep our children safe, applicants must hold an Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
