1:1 Core Subjects Tutor

Are you passionate about helping young people thrive in their learning? We’re looking for a dedicated and encouraging 1:1 Tutor to support students in English, Maths and Science at Key Stage 2, 3 and/or 4 levels.

About the Role:

As a 1:1 Tutor, you'll work closely with individual students to build confidence, fill knowledge gaps, and develop essential skills across the core subjects.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has strong subject knowledge in English, Maths and/or Science

  • Is confident working with students aged 7–16

  • Can adapt their teaching style to suit individual learning needs

  • Is patient, friendly, and reliable

  • Has a good sense of humour and a genuine interest in education

  • Holds (or is working towards) a teaching qualification or has relevant tutoring experience

  • Experience with SEND

  • Familiarity with the UK national curriculum

  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
