Location: Nottinghamshire (NG9)

The Role: As a Core Subjects Tutor, you will provide personalised tutoring sessions in the following key areas:

• English

• Mathematics

• Science

You will work closely with students, identifying their learning needs and adapting your teaching approach to suit individual requirements. Whether providing support for GCSE, A-Level, or Key Stage 2 & 3, your role will focus on building confidence, improving subject knowledge, and fostering a positive learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, interactive lessons in your specialised subject areas

• Assess students’ progress and adapt lessons accordingly to meet their learning needs

• Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve

• Develop and implement personalised study plans

• Motivate and inspire students to achieve their best academic results

• Ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment

Essential Skills and Experience:

• A strong academic background in English, Mathematics, and/or Science (degree level or equivalent)

• Previous teaching/tutoring experience, ideally in core subjects

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A passion for education and helping students reach their full potential

• Ability to work independently and adapt teaching methods to different learning styles

• Strong organisational and time-management skills

• Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)

• Experience working with students at various academic levels

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
