1:1 Core Subjects Tutor

Location: Nottingham (NG2 and surrounding areas)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Core Subjects Tutor to join our growing team, supporting pupils across Key Stages 2 to 4. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to make a real difference in the lives of students who require tailored support in English, Maths and Science.

About the Role:

As a 1:1 Tutor, you will work closely with individual students to help them build confidence, bridge learning gaps, and reach their full academic potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, personalised tuition in English, Maths, and/or Science

  • Plan and prepare lessons in line with national curriculum standards

  • Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly

  • Maintain accurate session records and progress reports

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Teaching or tutoring experience in core subjects

  • Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to motivate and build rapport with young learners

  • Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
