Are you looking to work 1:1 offering SEN support for a pupil behavioural with difficulties?

Do you have previous experience with 1:1 support with behavioural difficulties?

Teaching Personnel are working with a Roman Catholic Primary school in Manchester, Wythenshawe as a recruitment partner to help with the recruitment for the school for this academic year. The Primary school are looking for someone who can offer 1:1 support for a pupil with behaviour difficulties that is struggling inside and outside of the classroom. The role will be to begin as soon as possible and will be for the remainder of the academic year.

The pupil is currently in a year 3 class and needs someone to help offer support throughout the day both out of class on a 1:1 basis and also support during the class with work and staying focused. The child struggles with behaviour and staying focused during the school day. The child has been known o walk out of classes and can prove quite difficult to keep on track and focused in class without distracting his fellow pupils. The school are looking for someone who has previous experience with working in this kind of field as they want to give the pupil the best support they possibly can and feel the experience within the position is crucial. Being read, write inc trained as well as being familiar with Singapore maths is highly sought after, although not entirely necessary. The school is looking for someone with a calm nature who can encourage the pupil and help keep their behaviour on track in order for them to succeed in school.

The school is a 1 form entry Roman Catholic Primary school in Wythenshawe. Alongside 5 other Roman Catholic Schools in a cluster. The school has recently been graded "good" by Ofsted, a grading the school as maintained for a number of year. The school has a warm and welcoming feel as soon as you step through the doors. The Head at the school is a tireless worker that is always trying better the school, the staff and the pupils in every aspect.
