1:1 behaviour support
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
Teaching Personnel are looking for a Learning Mentor to work in one of the academy trusts we work closely with.
These roles are working with an individual child on a 1:1 basis supporting and guiding them through their education. These children struggle to access a full mainstream timetable so have a timetable specifically suited to their needs. Alot of their time table will be based outdoors and there having outdoor education would strengthen your application.
For these roles you must have experience of working with children within a setting. It does not specifically need to be in education. If you have worked as a sports coach/leader, teaching assistant, care support or other child related work positions then you could be considered for these roles.
You must be able to drive with access to your own vehicle.
A DBS is required for these roles and it must be child workforce only. We request for your DBS to be on the update service. However if you do not have a DBS we can support you through the process to apply for one.
If you are interested in this role please do not hesitate to contact us. Send us a copy of your CV or give our branch a call to find out more!
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
