Youth workers needed to work in secondary schools throughout Greater Manchester to work as PE teaching assistants, cover supervisors, learning and behaviour mentors. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers and youth workers considering a career in education where you can have a direct positive impact on a young person's life and prospects.

Teaching Personnel have opportunities for youth workers on a part time, long term and permanent basis dependant on your current work situation and availability. With a high proportion of students at risk of exclusion throughout Greater Manchester we are receiving requests for Youth Workers who have the ability to engage these learners to ensure they are achieving expected levels of progress in line with their targets.

Youth workers looking to work in secondary schools will need to have empathy, a passion for working with young people and a flexible attitude to the multiple array of challenges and scenarios that this work entails.

Highlights of this job role;

  • Weekly pay ranging from £275-£400 per day
  • Opportunities to earn permanent contracts
  • Regular CPD training and development courses
  • Excellent support from a team of knowledgeable consultants

If you are a Youth Worker interested in working for Teaching Personnel you will need to provided employment or educational references, have a vested interest in supporting secondary aged children between 11-16 and be eligible for a fully enhanced DBS certificate.
