***** SEN Youth Worker *****

  • Are you looking for a long-term rewarding role?
  • Do you have experience in de-escalation?
  • Could you support pupil on both a 1:1 and small group basis?

Teaching Personnel are working alongside SEN schools in the Brighton & Hove area that cater for secondary aged pupils who require additional 1:1 and small group support. The pupils will have learning difficulties and will require strong role models who are able to work closely with the pupils, you must be reliable and resilient but most importantly show enthusiasm within the role. We’re currently looking for ‘the right SEN Youth Worker’, it’s very important that the said educator is bubbly and confident as our children respond very well to that. They must be able to de-escalate challenging needs but also show that they’re pro-active and are able to use their initiative”.

About The School:

The SEN schools that we’re working closely with are able to cater for their pupils academic and social needs. All pupils will have their own EHCP (Educational, Health, Care, Plans), meaning that all pupils will be on their own specific development plan, all of our SEN schools have wondering internal staff that are very ‘down to earth’ and passionate about the pupils at their school.

Additional Information:

Travel: Car/Bus

DBS: Child Only Enhanced DBS

Pay: £385 - £400 per week

Hours: 8:30am – 15:30pm

Location: Brighton & Hove

Contract: Temp to Perm

Experience: Autism, ADHD, Learning Difficulties
