SEN Support Worker

-          Do you have experience within special educational needs?

-          Would you like to be a strong role model for pupils?

-          Could you support both primary and secondary pupils?

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a special educational needs school that is based in the Brighton & Hove area. The school are looking for educators who have experience with any of the following: SEN, Support Work, 1:1 work or Social Work. The chosen educator will be expected to support primary and secondary pupils on both a 1:1 and small group basis.

About the school:

The primary and secondary SEN school is based in the Brighton & Hove area. The school cater for pupils with PMLD (Profound, Multiple, Learning, Difficulties), the pupils will require 1:1 and small group support as they will be working at a lower academic level.

About the role:

The chosen educator will be expected to work alongside the pupils at the school, supporting them within the classroom and in-between classes. You will also be asked to attend school outings that you will be expected to attend. It is important that you can be a strong role model for the pupils as well as building strong relationships with them.

Additional Information:

Travel: Car/Bus

Pay: £83 - £95 per day

Contract: Temp to Perm

Availability: Monday – Friday (Full-Time)

Hours: 8:30am – 15:30pm

Experience: SEN

DBS: Child Only DBS

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
