Trainee Special Needs Classroom Assistant

What do you need to know about this school?
Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a Specialist SEN school who have facilities that are second to none. They cater for children and young people aged 3-19, who have a wide range of additional learning needs including Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down’s Syndrome and Sensory Processing difficulties. You will work in collaboration with a tight knit team of Special Needs Support Officers and the class teacher to implement an adapted curriculum that is accessible for all whilst considering individual personal needs on a daily basis.
The Successful Trainee Special Needs Classroom Assistant will:
- Have the ability to use your initiative in situations that maybe challenging.
- Be open to support and guidance from others.
- Have a nurturing personality and not take themselves too seriously.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
