A fantastic opportunity for an understanding individual who is passionate for supporting the teaching and learning for vulnerable young people and helping them reach their full potential.

A larger  than average secondary school located at the heart of Salford is seeking a resilient Youth Mentor to support with a group of identified pupils aged 11 to 16 who are disengaged from lessons and can display challenging behaviour.

  • Youth Mentor – September 2020 or earlier.
  • Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school.
  • Support pupils with challenging behaviour who are at risk of exclusion.
  • Excellent rates of pay up to GBP65 per day!

The incoming candidate will join a fantastic team of teachers and support staff who are dedicated to the learning and development of its pupils, all who have great potential. You will be based within the onsite inclusion unit and can expect to working within a truly rewarding opportunity for the incoming candidate who is dedicated to ensuring pupils have the best chance of reaching their full potential and reintegrating back into mainstream lessons.. The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience in the areas of youth work, disadvantaged young people or challenging behaviours and be able to access the Salford area.
